Alexandria Restaurant Week extended through Feb. 8 following winter storm
Nearly 80 restaurants will offer prix-fixe menus over 17 days and three weekends
Alexandria Restaurant Week has been extended by seven days, giving diners extra time to take advantage of the annual culinary event after this week’s winter storm disrupted travel and business across the city.
The event, which began Friday, will now run through Sunday, Feb. 8, according to Visit Alexandria. Nearly 80 restaurants are participating.
The extension stretches the promotion to 17 days, spanning three full weekends.
Participating restaurants are offering curated prix-fixe dinners priced at $35, $45 or $55 per person, along with special offers at local fast-casual establishments.
Diners can explore restaurants throughout Old Town, Old Town North, Del Ray, Carlyle and Eisenhower, Arlandria-Chirilagua, and the West End.
Visit Alexandria is encouraging visitors to extend their stays and visit multiple participating restaurants, as well as the city’s more than 100 independent boutiques. Hotel packages are available.
A full list of participating restaurants and menus is available at AlexandriaRestaurantWeek.com.
