Alexandria summer camp registration opens Feb. 18
Programs for ages 2-17 include sports, arts, STEM and more
The city is gearing up for summer camps, with registration opening Feb. 18 for residents and Feb. 20 for non-residents.
The Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Activities will offer camps for children ages 2-17, featuring sports, outdoor exploration, creative arts, STEM challenges, performing arts, and weekly themes.
Before-care from 7-9 a.m. and after-care from 4-6 p.m. will be available at select locations, offering activities such as crafts, group games, and movies.
A full summer camps guide with detailed descriptions is expected to be released in the coming weeks. The department’s Summer Fun Finder tool, which allows families to plan camp schedules week by week, will also return.
