Royal Restaurant to host Taylor Swift 'Eras Tour' watch party for Alexandria Swifties
Free event on Jan. 4 limited to just 50 spots
Local Swifties, mark your calendars: Royal Restaurant is throwing a watch party for Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour: The Final Show” concert film on Sunday, January 4, from 5 to 8 p.m.
The film, which debuted on Disney+ on December 12, captures Swift’s final Eras Tour performance in Vancouver from December 2024—marking the end of the record-breaking, 149-show global phenomenon. Directed by Glenn Weiss and featuring the Tortured Poets Department act from the tour’s revamped set list, it arrived alongside the first episodes of Swift’s six-part behind-the-scenes docuseries, “The End of an Era.”
The restaurant will stream the concert film across multiple screens in its covered patio space, inviting fans to sing along—loudly encouraged—while enjoying Taylor Swift-inspired cocktails and mocktails alongside the restaurant’s scratch-made dinner menu.
The evening will also feature trivia games and other surprises with prizes.
Guests are encouraged to come decked out in Eras Tour fashion: think sequins, cardigans, cowboy boots, or anything sparkly. Friendship bracelets are welcome, and organizers say the event is designed for both friend groups and solo attendees looking to connect with fellow fans.
The watch party is free to attend, but RSVPs are required, and capacity is limited to just 50 guests.
Royal Restaurant is located at 730 North Saint Asaph Street.
