Two restaurant weeks coming to Alexandria later this month
Metropolitan Washington event runs Jan. 19-25; Alexandria Restaurant Week follows Jan. 23 through Feb. 1
Diners in Alexandria will have two opportunities to enjoy prix fixe menus at local restaurants later this month as Metropolitan Washington Winter Restaurant Week and Alexandria Winter Restaurant Week both return.
Metropolitan Washington Winter Restaurant Week runs Jan. 19-25, featuring hundreds of restaurants across the D.C. region. Ten Alexandria restaurants are participating, offering three-course menus at various price points: $25 or $35 for brunch or lunch, and $40, $55 or $65 for dinner.
Alexandria participants in the regional event include a.lounge+bar, Bastille Brasserie & Bar, Clyde’s at Mark Center, Evening Star Cafe, Founding Farmers Alexandria, Josephine, Jula’s on the Potomac, Osteria Marzano, Rustico Alexandria and Vermilion.

Four days later, Alexandria Winter Restaurant Week begins its 10-day run from Jan. 23 through Feb. 1. The event showcases local chefs and international cuisine in neighborhoods including Old Town, Old Town North, Del Ray, Carlyle and Eisenhower, Arlandria-Chirilagua and the West End.
More than 80 restaurants are offering dinner menus priced at $35, $45 or $55 per person, with fast casual options also available.
Cuisines range from French and Italian to Indian, Thai, Greek, Japanese and Central American. Participating restaurants include Gadsby’s Tavern, The Majestic, Hank’s Oyster Bar, RT’s Restaurant and the Mount Vernon Inn.
