Titans rally past Woodson 17-13 on homecoming to open district play at 5-0

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Alexandria City scored late to beat W.T. Woodson 17-13 on Friday night at Parker-Gray Memorial Stadium, running its record to 5-0 in front of a homecoming crowd and opening District 4 play with a win.

The school's athletics account called it an "epic drive to come back in the 4th."

It was the Titans' closest game since a three-point win at Potomac on Sept. 3, and the second straight year they have edged the Cavaliers, after winning 23-21 last season.
