Alexandria Book & Craft Festival returns to Old Town on Sunday

Eighteen authors and 10 artists and makers will sell their work in the plaza behind 415 King St. Admission is free.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The Alexandria Book & Craft Festival returns to Old Town for a second year Sunday, with 18 authors signing books and 10 artists and makers selling their work.

The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 11, rain or shine, in the plaza behind 415 King St. It is free to attend.

Elaine's Literary Salon and Made in ALX are hosting the event. Elaine's restaurant will sell food there, organizers said.
