ALEXANDRIA, Va. — A 39-year-old man reported missing early Wednesday has been found safe, Alexandria police said Wednesday evening.
Peter Edwards was located, according to an update the department posted to social media. Police thanked those who shared the alert.
The department had asked for the public's help finding Edwards late Wednesday morning, saying he was last seen at 2 a.m. that day in the 5700 block of Dow Avenue. Police had classified the case as a critical missing adult.
Police did not say where Edwards was found.
