Alexandria police seek public's help finding missing 34-year-old woman

Grace Hudgins was last in contact Friday, four days before the department issued a critical missing adult alert Tuesday afternoon

ALEXANDRIA, Va - The Alexandria Police Department is asking residents for help finding a 34-year-old woman who has been classified as a critical missing adult.

In an alert posted to social media Tuesday afternoon at 2:10 p.m., APD identified the woman as Grace Hudgins and said her last known contact was on Friday, April 17 — four days before the department issued its public appeal.

Hudgins is described as a white female standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police did not release further details about the circumstances of her disappearance or where she was last seen.

Anyone with information about Hudgins's whereabouts is urged to call 9-1-1 or the APD non-emergency line at 703-746-4444. Tips that help locate missing persons are most valuable in the hours immediately after an alert is issued, and the department is encouraging anyone who may have seen her — even briefly — to come forward.
