ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Alexandria's annual Pride fair returns later this month with its largest lineup yet, bringing 100 exhibitors, live music, drag story hours and free health services to John Carlyle Square Park on Saturday, June 27.
The 9th Annual Alexandria Pride runs from 2 to 6 p.m. at John Carlyle Square Park, 825 John Carlyle St. Admission is free and the event is open to the community.
The fair is hosted by the Alexandria LGBTQIA+ Task Force in partnership with the city's Department of Community and Human Services and community partners. In addition to exhibitors and live music, attendees can expect food trucks, a mobile art lab, line-dancing, a DJ, dancing and free health services on site.
The city is framing this year's event in the context of World Pride Month, a global recognition of LGBTQIA+ communities and the ongoing pursuit of equality. Free interpretation and translation services will be available for attendees who prefer communication in another language; contact LanguageAccess@alexandriava.gov or call 703.746.3960.

The event is part of Alexandria's broader June Pride Month programming. The city has marked the occasion in recent years with the installation of rainbow crosswalks at the intersection of Royal and King streets, first unveiled in 2024, and a Pride-wrapped DASH bus.
Alexandria was the first locality in Virginia to extend protections to gays and lesbians through its human rights ordinance, according to the city, and the city earned a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign's Municipal Equality Index.
Organizations interested in exhibiting at the fair can register at alexandriava.gov/LGBTQ.
