ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Alexandria Restaurant Partners has named Nazia Millwala president, the company announced Monday.

Millwala has been the group’s chief financial officer since August 2024. She joined ARP in January 2022 as vice president of finance.

The change is part of what the company called a planned transition, with partners Dave Nicholas, David Clapp and Scott Shaw moving away from day-to-day management. Millwala will oversee operations, finance, marketing, food and beverage, and the company’s people and culture function. The partners will stay involved, Nicholas said.
