ALEXANDRIA, Va. - The Alexandria Police Foundation will hold its annual Karaoke with Cops fundraiser on Saturday, June 27, from noon to 3 p.m. at Cooper Mill Restaurant, 10 Duke St., near the city's waterfront in Old Town.

The event raises money for the foundation, an independent nonprofit that supports the Alexandria Police Department, with proceeds going toward boosting officer morale, youth programs that strengthen police-community relationships, and veterinary care for the department's active and retired K-9s.

This year's emcee is Julie Donaldson of Fox 5 News, a former member of the Washington Commanders' broadcast team. Organizers say prizes will be awarded in the form of gift cards donated by area restaurants and retailers, with a top prize valued at $300. Greenhill Companies is the presenting sponsor.

"At Karaoke with Cops we award prizes in the form of gift cards donated by area restaurants and retailers," said Charlotte Hall, chair of the foundation's board.
