ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Lifestyle & Performance Fitness celebrated the grand opening of its new boutique personal training studio in Del Ray on Saturday, May 16, with a ribbon cutting, studio tours, trainer meet-and-greets and a raffle of personal training sessions.
The new studio is located at 202 E. Custis Ave.
Guests at the event included Alexandria City Councilmembers John Taylor Chapman and Sandy Marks, along with Del Ray Business Association President Dr. Lauren Fisher and board members. Attendees also learned more about the studio's approach to strength training, functional fitness, and coaching.
Founded by co-owners Lawrence Soto and Patrick Newhall, Lifestyle & Performance Fitness was created to help people move better, feel stronger, and live with confidence, according to the company. Soto and Newhall bring a combined 30-plus years of experience in personal training, exercise science, athletic coaching and functional movement training.
"We're incredibly grateful for the support we've received from the community and our clients," Soto and Newhall said in a joint statement. "They have played a major role in helping us to get to this point where we could open our own studio in Del Ray. We've been fortunate to work with so many great people along the way, and we're excited to be a part of the community here in Alexandria."
The studio offers one-on-one personal training, small group training, and customized fitness programming for clients of all ages and experience levels.
