ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The Northern Virginia Transportation Commission will hold its first NoVaTransit Talks webinar on Friday, June 12, focused on projects aimed at improving the experience of bus riders across the region.

The free online event runs from noon to 1 p.m. and will feature local officials discussing new and ongoing efforts to strengthen transit for residents and workers.

Alexandria Vice Mayor Sarah Bagley, who chairs the NVTC, will give welcoming remarks, and the discussion will be moderated by Sophie Spiliotopoulos, the commission's data visualization manager.

Panelists include Silas Sullivan of the City of Alexandria, speaking on bus stop accessibility and amenities; Gladys Hurwitz of Loudoun County, on the county's microtransit program; and Wendy Sanford of the City of Fairfax, on the CUE network redesign.
