ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Two people were stabbed in separate incidents in Alexandria Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, according to the Alexandria Police Department, with persons of interest detained in both cases and no known threat to the community.
Officers responded to a stabbing in the 1200 block of Braddock Place involving two adult males. One man was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. APD first posted about the incident on social media at 9:23 p.m. Tuesday.
In a second incident, officers responded to a stabbing in the 4800 block of West Braddock Road involving two adult females. One woman was also transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. APD posted about that incident at 3:32 a.m. Wednesday.
A person of interest was detained in each incident. Both investigations remain ongoing.
