ALEXANDRIA, Va. - The Washington Spirit has announced a partnership with Pupatella, the Arlington-founded Neapolitan pizzeria with a location in Alexandria, naming it the club's Official Neapolitan Pizza Partner.

The deal will bring Pupatella's wood-fired pies to Spirit supporters throughout the season through matchday activations, co-branded campaigns, watch parties at Pupatella locations, and youth soccer clinics across the DMV. Full details on special offers and additional programming will be announced in the coming weeks.

"Pupatella has been my go-to for years," Spirit midfielder Andi Sullivan said in a release. "Getting to bring that into the Spirit world is incredibly special."

"Our fanbase grows one family at a time. So does a great neighborhood restaurant," said Washington Spirit Vice President of Corporate Partnerships Doug Vinci. "Pupatella has been doing that in this market for over a decade, and we can't wait to tell that story together."

Pupatella was founded in Arlington and has built a following across the Washington area over more than a decade, earning acclaim for its use of Italian-sourced ingredients and traditional wood-burning ovens. The pizzeria opened its Alexandria location at 700 Slaters Lane in Old Town North in September 2025.
