Publisher's Note: A new home
The Alexandria Brief has moved.
You might notice things look a little different this week. That's because I've migrated to a new platform—Ghost—after three months on Substack.
A significant number of readers have reached out over since the launch of The Alexandria Brief with concerns about Substack. You told me you wanted to support The Alexandria Brief but didn't want to do it through that platform. I heard you.
Ghost is built for independent publishers. It's the same reader-funded model—no ads, no corporate owner, everything free to read—just a different home. One that feels like a better fit for what I', building here.
What this means for you:
If you're a paid supporter, your subscription should transfer seamlessly. Same Stripe account, same billing cycle, nothing to do on your end.
If you're a free subscriber, you're already here. You'll keep getting The Alexandria Brief every weekday morning like always.
What I need from you:
Patience. Transitions are messy. Over the next few days, you might see a broken link, a weird formatting issue, or something that just looks off. If you spot something funky, let me know—reply to this email or reach out at ryan@alexandriabrief.com.
That's it. Same journalism. Same neighbor writing it. New home.
Thanks for coming with me.
