Heading to Nationals Park this season? You won't have to leave Alexandria's flavors behind.

Four restaurants and breweries with Alexandria roots have spots inside the stadium as the Washington Nationals open their 2026 home season today against the Los Angeles Dodgers. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m.

Hard Times Café, the chili institution that got its start on King Street in 1980, is set up in Section 133. The menu leans deep into chili — vegetarian and meaty varieties — ladled over hot dogs, fries, nachos and more.

Rocklands Barbeque and Grilling Company, which has called 25 S. Quaker Lane home since 2004, is serving wood-fired barbecue in Section 118, with pulled pork and chicken sandwiches, sides like slaw and mac and cheese, and gluten-free barbecue bowls.

Also, Taqueria Picoso, located at 1472 N. Beauregard Street, is serving tacos and tortas from Section 117. The standout is the chilaquiles torta, filled with carne asada, salsa verde, and lime mayonnaise.

And for those looking to wash it all down with a local brew, Port City Brewing Company beers are available at District Drafts locations in Sections 110, 141, and 223.
