Saturday brings the library's Hispanic Heritage Fiesta, a closing celebration at Patrick Henry Recreation Center, Kiwi Kuisine's reopening on Eisenhower Avenue and a march against the Edsall Road substation. On Sunday, Paws in the Park returns to Oronoco Bay Park.
Friday and Saturday look dry, with highs in the low 70s. Showers are likely for most of Sunday, with a chance lingering into early Monday.
City offices are closed, and ACPS students have no school Monday for Indigenous Peoples' Day.
