On This Day in Alexandria History

On December 4, 1971, the T.C. Williams football team won the state championship, shutting out Andrew Lewis of Salem, 27-0, and capping off an undefeated, 13-win season. The high school team was recalled years later in the film, “Remember the Titans.”
