ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Alexandria voters who haven't yet cast a ballot can vote Tuesday, Nov. 3, at their assigned polling place, which will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Early voting ended Saturday at 5 p.m. On Election Day, voters must go to the polling place for their precinct, and anyone in line by 7 p.m. can vote, the city said in an Oct. 31 release.
Through Thursday, Oct. 29, 21,546 people had voted early in person and 7,568 mail ballots had been returned, for a total of more than 29,000, according to the city's election dashboard. That's nearly double the 15,703 The Brief reported through Oct. 19. The dashboard does not yet include the last two days of early voting, Oct. 30 and 31.
