ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Alexandria Restaurant Week is back this summer, running August 14–23, 2026, with more than 75 restaurants offering specially curated prix fixe dinner menus across the city's neighborhoods.
For 10 days and two weekends, participating restaurants will offer dinner menus priced at $35, $45, or $55 per person, with additional deals at fast casual spots throughout the city.
In Old Town, diners can try American classics at The Majestic by Chef Santiago Lopez or Italian fare at Thompson Italian. Del Ray options include Pak Soii Izakaya & Bar for Japanese plates and Junction Bakery & Bistro for savory brunch. Over in Potomac Yard, Spice Kraft Alexandria highlights Indian cuisine and Founding Farmers Alexandria offers farm-fresh dishes. Global flavors continue in Arlandria-Chirilagua and the West End. First-time participants this year include Umiya Sushi and Dok Khao Thai Eatery.
The week also offers a chance to learn the stories behind some of the city's most beloved restaurants — including Jay Quander of 1799 Prime Steak & Seafood, whose family history spans 350 years, and Jamie Leeds, who named Hank's Oyster Bar after her father.
The timing lines up with Virginia's Tax-Free Weekend and the citywide Sidewalk Sale. Hotel packages are also available for those looking to extend their visit.
