3️⃣ Taylor Run infrastructure

The City of Alexandria will present early design plans for infrastructure stabilization measures along Taylor Run at a community meeting on Nov. 13 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Charles Houston Recreation Center Multipurpose Room, 901 Wythe Street.

4️⃣ Traffic around City Hall

North Royal Street between Cameron and King streets will be closed to all traffic for three days this week as the city conducts investigation and testing work for the City Hall and Market Square renovation project. After the closure, North Royal Street will reopen with shifted lanes and no parking from November 13 to 20.

5️⃣ Flood findings

The city will present flood modeling results and gather public input on flooding impacts at a community meeting tonight at Patrick Henry Recreation Center. The 7 to 8:30 p.m. meeting will include findings from the Flood Resilience Plan, a community vulnerability assessment, and resident survey feedback.
