ALEXANDRIA, Va. — On Thursday night, School Board Chair Christopher Harris read a resolution placing my name on the Virginia School Boards Association's 2026 Media Honor Roll.

The board adopted the resolution unanimously on Aug. 27, and all nine members signed it. On Thursday I went home with the resolution, a VSBA certificate, a framed copy of my story on Alexandria City High School's Class of 2026 graduation, flowers, and some ACPS gear.

Everything on The Alexandria Brief is free to read.
