Good morning, Alexandria.

School zone speed cameras switch back on Aug. 24, the first day of class for most ACPS students. Six zones, $100 fines, 15 mph when the signs are flashing — the locations are on King Street, Braddock Road, Seminary Road, Mount Vernon Avenue and two stretches of North Beauregard. The city tests the systems Friday without issuing citations.

Also today: Ted's Bulletin and Honeymoon are projected for Carlyle Crossing in late fall, and delivery robots are coming to Wonder's Potomac Yard food hall, a neighborhood Serve didn't cover at its December launch.

1️⃣ Ted's Bulletin, Honeymoon projected to open at Carlyle Crossing in late fall

Two restaurants from Washington-based Catalogue are projected to open at Carlyle Crossing in late fall, a spokesperson for the group said Monday.

Kristen Salis, who handles media relations for Catalogue, said the projected opening is late fall and that the group would provide updates as they become available. Banners reading "Coming Soon" for Ted's Bulletin and Honeymoon were up on construction hoarding at the Eisenhower East development as of Friday. Ted's Bulletin lists its Carlyle Crossing address as 2471 Mandeville Lane and Honeymoon lists 2461 Mandeville Lane.

2️⃣ Wonder adds robot delivery at Potomac Yard as Serve expands to a second app

Wonder is adding autonomous sidewalk robot delivery at its Potomac Yard food hall through a partnership with Serve Robotics, the company announced Monday, expanding robot delivery in Alexandria to a second ordering platform.

Serve launched in Alexandria in December with Uber Eats, covering other parts of Alexandria, including Del Ray, Potomac West, Old Town North, and nearby neighborhoods within a 1.5-mile radius, and partnering with more than 80 area restaurants.

3️⃣ Alexandria school zone speed cameras resume Aug. 24

Alexandria will resume school zone speed camera enforcement Aug. 24, the first day of school for most Alexandria City Public Schools students, the city said Monday.

The cameras will begin automatically issuing citations to drivers who speed in the six monitored zones. The city will test the school zone flashers and camera systems on Friday, Aug. 21, and residents may see the flashers operating during normal weekday hours. No citations will be issued during the test.

The city will lead a community walking tour of the Taylor Run Infrastructure Stabilization Project from 3 to 5 p.m. today, giving residents a chance to see the project area and question staff about the design now on the table. (The Brief)

Hypergoat Coffee Roasters co-founder Rodrigo Ramos confirmed Monday that the company is opening a second Alexandria location in Del Ray, days after declining to discuss the project. Ramos said the buildout remains early and did not give an opening date. (The Brief)
